Brian attended Boston College, where he majored in finance. Brian already had his sights set on studying and practicing law, and knew that studying such an exacting science like finance would lay a strong foundation. It is with that kind of foundation and skill set that he now approaches the legal complexities of white collar crime.
At the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, Brian distinguished himself as a member of the Law Review.
Brian began his career working with two prominent New Orleans law firms where he served clients in complex commercial and maritime litigation. Following this, he worked for several years as a Federal Prosecutor. During his tenure at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, he successfully prosecuted a wide variety of cases including environmental violations, public corruption, bank fraud, and other federal crimes.
With his background in federal practices and strategies in white collar cases, Brian anticipates the government’s actions when he is defending a white-collar case. He knows what information federal prosecutors look for and the tactics they use when pursuing indictments.
At Capitelli & Wicker, Brian provides legal services to large corporations and business owners with tax, employment, or healthcare issues. He also represents individuals seeking defense in white-collar and criminal matters or facing administrative or licensure issues before State and Federal boards.
